Costs

Room and board rates are a maximum of $1,350 per month.  These can be adjusted to take into account personal income levels and circumstances.  

The rooms include:

• Accommodation consisting of a room with a private washroom
• Home cooked meals
• All utilities except for cable and phone
• Cable available at a low rate (~$15/month)

Abbeyfield residents can qualify for S.A.F.E.R. (Shelter Aid for Elderly Renters), a B.C. Government rent-subsidization program for seniors on limited incomes.  For more information, please visit http://www.bchousing.org/programs/SAFER.
